Installation And Uninstall

USO_2300 Application:

• USO_2300 Application no need installation. Simple to download and extract,it can be run.
• If the directory the software in is deleted,the software is deleted at all.
• The application is USO_2300.EXE.

Device Driver:

• While the USB oscilloscope is used at the first time,the computer will prompt to install device driver .
• Before install device driver,Pls temporarily disconnect your PC from the Internet.
• The device driver is the file USO.INF under the directory \DRIVER.
• the device driver uninstaller is the .exe file under the directory \DRIVER.
• User can uninstall the device driver through the windows "CONTROL PANEL"
• The USB oscilloscope device is named as "RuiQi USO Device" in the computer system hardware list.

USB Oscilloscope (96138 USB Oscilloscope):

• Small Size and Metal cabinet.
• USB power supply directly. No other power supply. Plug and play.
• The application can automatically search USB oscilloscope and detect the device model.
• If the application find a USB oscilloscope,the model of the device and the application startup number will be displayed at the top of the main window.The product ID will be displayed at "About" window.
• One computer can be connected with several USO-2300 oscilloscopes.They differ in the application startup number and the model.

Config Requirement:

• If the application can be run at the DEMO mode,the computer can drive one or more USB oscilloscope.
• Monitor resolution: at least 800*600. The best resolution: 1024*768.
• RAM :at least 128M.
  

How To Use

1. Operation Describe :

A. Click

• Operate all menu items and buttons .
• Set TIMEBASE ,VOLT/DIV ,POSITION and TRIG LEVEL.
• Change color or switch option.
• Move wave view of time domain to left or to right.

B. Double Click

• Double Click measure view,the measure setting window will appear.

• We can change the displayed content and color.

C. Right click

• At wave view,a new menu will appear.
• Copy ,Print,Setting ,Close...will appear.

D. Drag

• Move the marker in the time domain wave view or frequency domain view.
• Move the triggle indicators to adjust the triggle level and triggle horizontal position.
• Operate TIMEBASE ,VOLT/DIV ,POSITION and TRIG LEVEL.
• Change the size of the time domain wave view or frequency domain view.
• Move wave view of time domain to left or to right.

E. Default Abort and OK button on the Setting window

• Default: Restore factory setting.
• Abort :Close the setting window,no save.
• OK:save and close the setting window.

F. Hot key

• Hot key is the letter with underline.

G. Auto calibration

• Before use the device at the first time,the device should be calibrate ,and the calibration result should be saved.
• Run auto calibration,user should operate according to the application prompt.
• Abort the calibration procedure or after calibration,the device should be unplag or the application should be restart once.

H. Selected

• If Selected,the font or the line will turn to colored.otherwise,it appears black or grey.

Record As USO File: Record as the USO file that can be playback by USB scope application.

Record As TXT File: Record as the file that the application Excel,Word ,Notepad can use.

• Record. Enter RECORDER mode,the recorder bar and the recorder time bar will appear.
• Buttons are:Pause | Exit record| start to record.
• When record,time bar turns to colored and count.
• Record will be correct and no repeat .

E. Main window PLAYBACK menu

• Playback. Enter PLAYBACK mode,the playback bar and the progress bar will appear.
• Buttons are:Playback| Pause|Exit PLAYBACK|Next frame|previous frame|return the first frame.
• Playback progress bar,display the playback location.while pause,user can change the playback loction.
• The playback speed can set at SETUP| PLAYBACK.

F. Main window A+/-B menu

• switch A+B ,A-B and close A+/-B.

G. Main window Cursor,FFT,S Map,C Map,X-Y Plot menus

• switch the cursor(marker),FFT, S Map,C Map,X-Y Plot.

H. Main window MSave menu

• Mode save.Save all the current setting as a file.

• Mode Restore.Restore the setting file.

• Select triggle mode:positive edge ,pulse or negative edge.

• Frequency search and trace at channel A.

• Frequency search and trace at channel B.

N. NFT

• Close frequency search and trace function.

O. Reset Buttons

• Click the reset buttons,can reset the voltage level.

P. Up/Down Buttons

• Click the up-down buttons,can adjust the voltage level.

4.Knobs

A.TIMEBASE

• Click or drag can change timebase.

B. VOLT/DIV

• Click or drag can change channel voltage devision.
• The list box can change voltage devision directly.

E. POSITION

• Click or drag can change the vertical position of the channel A,chanel B and triggle level.
• The list box can change the vertical position of the channel A,chanel B and triggle level directly.
• The up/down keys can also adjust the vertical position of the channel A,chanel B and triggle level directly.

5.Suggestion:

• If the voltage of the input signal to BNC is not more than 2 times of the current voltage division full scale,more precis waveform will be captured.For an example,the 2 times of the 1V/Div full scale is 20V.
• Almost probes at 1X (1:1) limit the bandwidth of the instrument to 6MHz.To use the full bandwidth of the oscilloscope,the probe should switch to 10X(1:10).The high-end probe(such as Tektronix P2200) will improve the instrument performance.

6.Warning:

• Because the metal cabinet of the USB oscilloscope is connected with the PC ground,the desktop computer customers should use the electrical outlet with 3 terminals.
• To void harm to the oscilloscope and the probes,don't put them into the fog,liquid and menstruum,don't put them into the environment with conductive pollution.

Probe Capacitor Compensation :

• Before use probe at 1:10 or 1:100,the compensation capacitor of probe should be adjusted.
• Set the timebase to 1ms/div.Connect probe terminal with 1KHz compensation terminal.Connect the probe ground with the oscilloscope metal cabinet.
• To compensate the probe at 1:1,set the voltage devision to 0.5V/div.To compensate the capacitor of the probe at 1:10 or 1:100,set the voltage devision to 0.05V/div.
• Adjust the compensation capacitor of probe,until 1KHz wave show the normal square wave.
